Over the years, I’ve compiled a set of guiding principles into a series of slides, tips, and notes – my management compass. These North Star ideas, shaped by experience and theory, help me navigate the complexities of leadership. My compass is a living document. I constantly add, remove, rearrange, and refine items as I learn and grow. When managing, it’s easy to focus on one area while unintentionally neglecting other, but all aspects are crucial. In the end, it’s the orchestration of all the elements that leads to sustainable success. These slides serve as a reminder of what has worked before and what to keep in mind. I recommend the exercise – creating and maintaining my management compass has brought clarity and direction to my leadership journey. It could do the same for you.
